Question 1

What is Formula 1 Carnauba Paste Wax used for?

Accepted Answer

It is used to enhance paint colour, produce a high-gloss shine and create a protective layer over compatible automotive paint.

Question 2

Does this wax contain carnauba wax?

Accepted Answer

Yes, it is formulated using Brazilian carnauba wax for gloss and paint protection.

Question 3

Can it remove scratches?

Accepted Answer

It can reduce the appearance of minor surface scratches, swirl marks and haze, but it cannot repair deep scratches that penetrate the paint.

Question 4

Is it safe for clear-coat paint?

Accepted Answer

Yes, it is suitable for compatible clear-coated paint finishes when used according to the instructions.

Question 5

Can it be used on every paint finish?

Accepted Answer

No. It should not be applied to matte, satin or textured paint unless the vehicle manufacturer permits it.

Question 6

Does it protect against UV damage?

Accepted Answer

The wax layer helps protect paint against environmental exposure, oxidation and UV-related deterioration.

Question 7

Can it restore faded paint?

Accepted Answer

It can improve the colour and gloss of lightly faded or hazy paint, but severely oxidized paint may require professional correction.

Question 8

Should the vehicle be washed before applying the wax?

Accepted Answer

Yes, the surface should be thoroughly washed, decontaminated when necessary and completely dried before application.

Question 9

Can it be applied in direct sunlight?

Accepted Answer

No, apply it to a cool surface in a shaded area for easier application and removal.

Question 10

How much wax should be applied?

Accepted Answer

Apply a thin, even layer. Excessive application makes removal more difficult and does not improve protection.

Question 11

Can it be used on plastic or rubber trim?

Accepted Answer

Avoid applying it to unpainted porous plastic and rubber because it may leave visible residue.

Question 12

How much product is included?

Accepted Answer

The container includes 230 grams of Formula 1 Carnauba Paste Wax.
